Interactive map
The following interactive maps show outputs of modelling conducted for the project using a new workflow utilising the least cost paths and graph theory approach, to identify critical movement corridors and patches for species and species guilds throughout eastern and south western Australia. Both approaches incorporate human impacts, newly developed forest maturity modelling and environmental variables and creates millions of linkages between habitats. The resulting outputs are useful for identifying optimal connectivity pathways, bottlenecks and isolated habitats.
Data produced during modelling can also be downloaded via the interactive map. To download habitat connectivity rasters (geotiffs) of areas of interest;
1) Click on the IBRA bioregion of interest
2) In the pop up, click the 'Download connectivity layers' link
3) Open the spatial rasters in GIS software
